How it works
You'll notice, the Meal plate is divided into (C) carbohydrates, (F) fats and (P) proteins. You will notice the (P) protein section is removable, to allow the user to heat that part of their meal separate from the rest. (no more scraping your chicken off your plate to heat it separately from your salad ) The Snack dish is a much smaller portion size, divided into (C) carbohydrates and (P) protein. This dish is to be used in between meals.
Each dish includes a tight fitting lid to avoid leaks, making it perfect for travel. Vidadish also includes a 7 day meal plan to get you started. All YOU have to do is put the right food in the right compartment and off you go. There are tons of ideas to follow on the site when your ready for a change. For those of you who stay at home Vidadish can also be used as a measuring tool to teach you proper portion consumption.
Now that we are eating the right portions, lets talk about the right foods! Many dieters start the battle of the bulge by filling their fridge with light versions of treats, such as muffins and pastas, Resist the urge! Always choose whole grains, fruits, veggies, lean proteins and healthy fats. Remember broccoli and brown rice are also carbohydrates, the good complex ones.
